As many of you know, for the past fifteen years, Jeanne and I have split our time between Monterey, California and Sayulita, Nayarit, Mexico. It has been a wonderful time for us and someday I will tell you all about it. However, it makes continuity about things on which you are working almost impossible including my blog. I finally gave up. I am starting all over. Actually, I think it is probably wise since I have learned a lot about how to do it. But, the most important thing is that I don't know where I started and where I left off. Hopefully I will keep this one very organized.
Just a reminder. The reason I am doing this is to pass along family stuff to those members who come after us. When our parents died, both Jeanne and I wish we would have learned more from them about family background and now they're gone and we can't ask questions anymore.
We don't want that to happen for our kids and the kids to come.
Here's the plan. I am going to post literally hundreds of items that we have collected. I will then tell you all I know about it. The hope is then that you would add any information that you might have about that item since I know very little about some things.
Then, in the end, maybe we will have something that would be of interest to our family members who come after us. I hope you like the idea and I hope you would contribute.
If you are not family members, but friends, please feel free to add any comments you might have about any of it.
I love you all.
Rollie

I wrote this post at the beginning of the blog. I thought I'd repeat if there were some of you who had not seen it in the beginning.
