Dad's Discharge

This is a copy of Dad's Separation from the U.S. Naval Service.  It was issued in Shoemaker, California.  If you click on it, I think it will enlarge enough for you to be able to read it.  Some very interesting things about it to me are:  "Worked as demobilization personnel Interviewer;  Total payment upon discharge $14.57;   job preference, clergy in Reedley, California; Date of separation 4/14/46."
Mother and Larry and I lived in Reedley during the war when Dad was gone.  I remember when the Armistice was signed all kinds of sirens and horns went off all over Reedley.  It was quite a time.
