Curtis in His Glory

Curtis Lee Wilson was a friend of ours.  He had celebral palsey.  The Western Stage used him in many productions which was good for him and good for the audience.  At some point, it was decided to perform some of Curtis's poetry and lyrics.  So, Joshua composed some music, Jodi and some friends performed, danced and sang.  Josh played his saxaphone and it was a night for Curtis to rememberl

Wow, haven't thought about that performance in years! One of the pleasures of my life. Curtis shined that night. The audience experienced something they probably haven't forgotten. Something they'd never seen before. That's what theater's about, and Curtis's poetry and poise, his spirit, made it one hell of a night. If you ever read this, or even if you don't, I miss you Curtis, and you continue to be an inspiration to me.
