Sherwood School

This was when I was Principal of Sherwood School in East Salinas.  My student population was 99% minority.  So much for minority isolation.  This woman who I can't name was what we called Community Coordinators.  They went out into the community and attempted to help our parents with things they needed, food, clothes, etc.  She was a good woman.  (I am going to use the word entrapueners even though I don't know how to spell it. )  Her family, sons and daughters, were all entrapueners in town, one running a very successful automobile insurance agency.
