The other day Jeanne and I were watching a documentary about the landing at Normandy on D Day. She said that her Father, Al, this man helped to keep the forces informed about the weather for that day which was very, very important to the success of the mission. Was Al in Iceland or Greenmland? I think one of those outposts working on weather reports for the war effort.
