This is a newspaper clipping I found. The recipes are all for raisins. As you know, where we grew up is raisin land. I'm guessing this was my Grandma's. (Dick) Could have actually been for the recipes or it could have been that she knew one or more of the contributors. Most Mennonites who live in Reedley were/are related to each other. I scanned the back of the recipes because it was a classified section advertising land and houses. Listen to this . . . 14 Acres, close to Reedley with a two bedroom house and an apartment, barn, chicken house, and garage. 10 acres are in vines, 1 acre is in peaches and 21/2 acres are in alfalfa. Price $12,000.00. Wow!
