I have no idea why I have this. She was Larry's first wife. Her maiden name was Karen Shewchuck. The date on the diploma is 1961. By the way, Karen lives up in Mendocino County now. She has visited our restaurant in Sayulita. It was nice to see her.

I met Karen at Fresno State where we were in out first year of college. I met her in a play that we were both cast in. The lead actor was a guest actor named James Whitmore. It was an Ibsen play called "Brand". I fell desperately in love with Karen, and I did not think I could live without her. We were married and had one child, Kevin. Karen now lives in the forest in Humboldt County and not Mendocino County
