The postmark on this letter is Reedley, California, Feb, 1963. It is from my Grandmother, Mrs. J. B. Dick. (Interesting, J. B. are the initials for my Grandfather.) It was sent to Camp Trinity on the Bar 717 Ranch, Hayfork, California. This is the camp that I worked on for two years, becoming the camp director during the last year. Also, one winter we brought in about six "troubled" 6th graders and I was put in charge of them. Some of the most miserable times of my life. Grandma starts out her letter, "My Dearest Grandson Rollie. Must come for a little visit." I hope you will read on. Click on the page and it will get bigger. Grandma is as close to a saint as I will know in my lifetime.
